blu ray / pc compatibilty problems?

i bought an LG Blu Ray that can basically be used as a BD-R 10X, BD-R DL 8X, BD-RE 2X, DVD+R/-R 16X, DVD-RAM 12X, CD-R 48X, CD-RW 24X, BD-ROM 10X, DVD-ROM 16X, CD-ROM 48X, I was wondering if its true about the problems with Blu Ray and PC and if there are any ways to fix them. Anybody have blu ray on their PC and it works perfectly fine?

I don't know what "problems" you've heard about, but I've been running my LG Blu-Ray drive for well over a year with no issues.

Plays BDs and DVDs just fine with PowerDVD.

There is no "issue" with blue ray's and a "pc".

That's like saying is there an issue with radio's and cars.

you just need to make sure your "pc" has the drivers/software needed to handle the blue ray player.

Only "issue" i've heard about coming to BD and PC is the fact that people expect that if they just slap a BD drive into the PC that they will have BD quality right away. Many people forget the fact that you need to update video player programs.
Other then that. Not heard anything.
