Love yourself first and most

I have some good habit and bad. Taking care of folks and leadership skills I feel is my best. Most all my leadership skills I learned from the military. The military is a great place to learn leadership skills. When I was in the military, my job was to take care of my soldiers. I had the responsibly to train these soldiers and help them adjust to military life.

Since I have retired for my service with the army, I carry on these skills I have learned. My attitude and skills I have learned I never want to lose. Over the years of growing up in my life, I had learned a lot. I only assume that we all are always growing and learning in life. I had learned a lot from my military days that you have care about yourself the most. When you are in a leadership position taking care of soldiers, you have to take care of yourself too. If you don?t and you go down things will fall apart for your team. The Army taught me lots of responsibilities. They taught me if you care and believe in yourself, you would accomplish anything in life no boundaries. Being in the service for the first time in life, the stress can be a little hard on you.

When I was about 18 years old I joined the Army. Going through the training was new and hard to accomplish. My first field duty, I learned an important lesson. I learned you have to care for yourself. One day we were conducting a training mission. I was a private and in a new to the unit. That day while conducting operation with a fuel tanker and a seal came off of a fuel line. This seal drop down inside the fuel tanks that hold 5000 gallons of fuel and we could not reach it. I was the smallest in the squad the sergeant order me to get down inside this fuel tank. I was so new to the Army, regardless, to my health and safety I climb down into the tank. Later, I woke up in a medic hospital because I pass out from fumes. The sergeant received charges for his orders and I received a big lesson that day. No matter how many orders or what rank you are, think safety for yourself first and others. I don?t want to lose my habits or my ways I learned in the Army. That is the first and most proud thing I have.

Love yourself first and Most.

Want it more than anything

I have a son nine years old. His name is David Jr. I am very proud of him in everyway. My wife is so jealous because he looks so much like me. When I come home from work or school, I am so tired. David always stays up until daddy gets home, because he wants to play. I always make an effort to spend the time with him no matter how tired I feel.
David Jr. has learned how to speak three different languages on for being nine years old. He makes me laugh a lot, because he learning English a lot and talks like they do in cartoon shows. Sometimes he doesn?t know that it good or bad words. Some of my days at work go so bad for me. When I come home and see my son, I forget about everything that happen that day.
My son is the world to me. I think about how cannot I live without him. Since the first day he was born, I was so proud. I am happy with him around and he the reason what I live for. My family is my life and I always wanted a son more than anything. Most of my days go bad. When I get home after being at work all day, my son is they?re waiting for me and he always makes me forget what happen that day at work. My family means the world to me, and I will never want to lose it. Life would not be a reason for living, if you didn?t have something in it. When I was in the Army, the military was first. Now, I am retired my family number one.
If anyone ever asks me: ? what you want more than anything? I would say my family. When I have my family around me I am at peace with myself. Family keeps me going in life. When I keep everything in my family perfect and happy, it makes me feel happy and proud. What I want more than anything is to keep my family safe and happy.

Want it more than anything

A really good read I am currently married and me and my wife both want a son one day. The way you speak about your son is the way I look at myself wanting to be. I was given up for adoption when i was a infant and never had a family until i was 12 so for me i wanted to give my son that all-american family compassion. Wanting a kid has taken up every sec of my life there is not one sec that goes buy thinking about it.

Kentucky you every think about going into writing books? You always seem to have a lot to stay and you convey it in such eloquence.

I just recently finished my Bachelor of Computer Science, and instructors ask me that same question. They insist that I write about my Military career, experiences, travels over the world, and combat experiences. I told them nah!,it may never amount to anything  I enjoy helping others and writing telling them from my past experiences, in hopes they tell others for our future generations.
All in All haven't clue were to start  But Sir Thanks ;)

Kentucky. All I can say is...Wow.

Thanks :)

if only...

If only more parents around the world felt as you do the there would a hell of a lot less problem going on. Much love to you and yours.

I totally agree. I know exactly how you feel. Having a family is all you need. Through thick and thin they are there waiting for you. Whether after work, or after a deployment, they are there.

I remember shortly afterwe found out my wife was pregnant, my unit was deployed. I was going to miss my daughter's birth and the first three-four months of her life. However, we came back early enough where I could see her birth. It was the greatest experience ever.
