It is an M7700 laptop.

I don't know all of the specs yet, but when i receive it, i will update this.

What I do know:
AMD Turion 64 2.2GHz
nVidia 7900GS 640MB
17" 1920x1200 screen (<--epic win)
32GB SSD
1GB ram

I am so stoked for this. It has all of my dreams rolled into one.

-Alienware laptops
-Geforce 7900 series
-epic screen

Thoughts?

You bought it without knowing the specs?

And if that is better than sex, then what is my 24" 1080 asus monitor?

1. I know enough

2. This has much higher pixel density.

And your single monitor pales in comparison to my 5304x1050 display on my desktop

IMO - Alienware is overpriced on all their products.

But I can see why you would get it, gaming laptops that powerful don't really exist anywhere else.

It was ~$4000.......new.

It's old, so it should be cheap.

I got it for roughly $330. Which, is kinda high IMO, but he is shipping from canada, which can't be cheap, so i cut him some slack with pricing.

Still isn't bad.

It should play some things respectfully. The Turion is about the only problem.

yea, i'm really hoping that it is skt S1, which i could upgrade to some sort of X2.

The screen is kinda a problem though......7900GS aint running anything at that res

*sees thread about buying alienware*
"I'm gunna verbally beat the crap out of this guy."
*clicks*
"Oh, laptop....I guess it ain't that bad."

I got this Lenovo laptop for college and I love it. Only cost $1000 (got it on sale) (The specs I took from a slightly different version than the I have cause they no longer sell mine but I fixed them to the best of my ability. I'm not exactly that knowledgeable about figuring out what is in my computer)

System components
Intel Core i7-720QM Processor ( 1.60GHz 1066MHz 6MB )
Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium 64
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 1GB
4 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1333MHz
15.6" HD LED Glare 1366x768
Industry Standard Touchpad
500GB 7200 (might be 5400 cant remember)
DVD Recordable (Dual Layer)
6 Cell Lithium-Ion

But my resolution is the same.

And when did this turn into a competition?

...... you implied that your monitor was better than the one on the laptop.

1. that is not true.

2. I was just stating that i have seen a better monitor setup (my eyefinity setup), i just really like high density displays (like that on the laptop).

Nothing compared to the one in the laptop :P jk

The laptop display has higher pixel density so its gonna look sharper in general

Everybody chillax with the displays............none of you are winners unless you have this

Or 3 of them in Nvidia surround/eyefinity......some dude one hardforum and overclock is selling 3 of these or the 27" ones. They win :)
