Haha I'm loving this! I've been waiting for a special offer on this on ebuyer.com and It's taken at least a month for it to appear :P But now I have it! I bought it for ?150 off ebuyer.com and I'm so glad I got it! The graphics is just... insane... COD4 maxed out ;)

Anyway, if your looking to buy this GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), make sure you have AT LEAST a 450w PSU (Power Supply), a PCI-e Motherboard and at two spare PCI-e power cables on your PSU.

Can't wait to put it to it's full potential!

pffft for any gaming machine, noise should really be put on the back burner - you should hear my rig when i have all fans turned to 100%!!!

Junk is right, I have two GTX 470's in SLI, and yes they are some what loud and HOT.. But that's the price you pay when you have a gaming rig. When I'm gaming I cant even hear them cause I have my two 200mm fans and a 140mm fan running at max RPM

i don't like this card. (it makes alot of noise!)

I love this card (i have two). Best $450 I've spent, huge upgrade from my 9600GTs in SLI. The reason it makes a lot of noise may be because its getting hot and staying hot. They will be loud when they are hot (even NVidia thinks so). Keep the case clean, make sure its well ventilated, maybe look at some wire management if you haven't done that already.

I got the 465 a while back. Very, very nice card. The main issue, as mentioned earlier, is the heat and noise the card makes. Really, though, it's worth it to have so much power under the hood.

Even Nvidia admitted to them being loud and higher temp. when they were presenting their 5XX series.
I'll go look for the YouTube link if you want proof :)

Well my GTX 460 is much quieter than my 8800GT was when I have the fan profiles set up keep them the same temp (around 68*C). I fold 24/7 so I am constantly at 100% load and have the fans set to a constant speed.

I just replaced my 460 recently and yeah they are loud but still a very nice card. More than capable in any game you can throw at it.

Loud compared to what? They are one of the quietest compared to the competition, even the reference design. Same goes for temps. Really?

I can only speak to my personal experience. My tower sits on my desk about a foot and a half from my head and all I know is that mine (EVGA 460 1gb SC EE) was a hell of a lot louder than the 560 I'm running now. Perhaps the 460 created a sympathetic vibration in my desk that the 560 isn't and that's the issue, but my wife can no longer hear my computer at load from the other end of the house and that's a good thing.

what one do you have? I have the gigabyte version that has dual fans and I can't hear it at all?

Well it all depends on what games your playing really. If your playing a game like Crysis then expect it to be loud; your GPU is working hard to render (I think that's the word :L) the graphics.
