Hello Troops,

I like to pass on something I wrote for my Boy.

Quitters never win and Winners never Quit

In competitions no one like a quitter. In the world of challengers the word quit is not in the vocabulary. Sports competitions now days, people never like to quit. They like to win. If they are a quitter, they never win. Myself, I never like to loose in any type of sports and any challenge. Returning to school is a challenge for me. If I give up I will be a quitter. Being a quitter at anything is not listed in my book. Quitters never win.

The game of sports, everything is a challenge. The coach?s are all the time preaching to their team. The coach objective is to take the team to win. He will push everyone on the team to be winner. The coach?s job is to convince everyone on the team to be winner and never quit. He will always tell them, quitters never win. In the world of sports they always want to win.

I love to win and everything I do. I always push myself beyond my limitations. Sometimes I push to far and regret it later. I remember my basic training days in the military. Everyday was a challenged to me. I though I would ever make it through basic training. My instructor motivation kept me going, I soon believed if I believe I was a winner, I could accomplish anything. The military is designed that way. The leaders always motivate their soldiers to push themselves to the limits. I happy they trained me that way. Now anything I ever do in my life, I always believe I can win. My son, while he is growing up now I will pass on my belief to him. Hopefully when he gets older. He will perform to win and never be a quitter.

Everyone should believe they are a winner. If you always perform a 100% in anything you do in life. You will feel good about yourself, because you done your best. The phrase, ? Quitter never win and winner never quit, is a true statement. In the world now days, everyday is a challenge in my life. I not going to quit, I am going to win in college. I am going to accomplish my goals I have set.

Quitters never win and Winners never Quit :)

Well said as always!

Can we start stickying these threads Kentucky? Because honestly, these are needed for more than just this community, but for life in itself.

You know Kentucky, every time you post something like this I feel motivated. I feel like this should be a sticky for all of time. :P

Seriously, not even kidding Kentucky you definitely posses the spirit of an eGO member (hint hint award recommendation hint hint) and this is the kind of thing that makes me love eGO that much more. Thanks for posting this for us all, it's definitely something that not only applies to gameplay bu it's something that we should be applying to our everyday lives and activities

Salute to you, soldier

Unfortunately I've quit somethings in my life and I've regretted quitting some of them. Other things not as much.

Along with this goes the fact that sacrifices have to be made sometimes. In order win it takes dedication and with that dedication comes some sacrifice. Just make sure what you are striving for is more important to you than what you are sacrificing.

<----Natural failure of life. Thanks for all the speeches you give KentuckyGhost, you even give a pessimist like me a little motivation.

Thank You sir for these words, but I not looking for fame, promotions, or glory. If I can help someone accomplish their dreams in life, while being part of a great team ( as eGO Community is) then I have done my duty as a person and father.

Once again Thank You Sir

Well put sir, sometimes you have to sacrific some thing in life for the better good of family, Unit, and country.

Thank You Sir for those words.

Loyalty = bear true faith and allegiance!
Duty = Fulfill your obligations!
Respect = Treat people as they should be treated!
Selfless Service = Put the welfare of others before your own!
Honor = Live up to all military values!
Integrity = Do what's right, legally, and morally!
Personal Courage = Face fear, danger, or adversity head On!

Great post Kentucky!!

I agree 100%, I must add this: is not about how many times you fall... is all about how many times you'll keep doing the things until you archive your goal!

haha count on Kentucky to put out these wonderful posts. Remember, if you try you will not fail, because if you have failed you did not try at all.

Right on!

Anything worth while is worth working and fighting for. Thank you Kentucky, your words are good boot to the arse! I know what it is to to fail but to try again, to fall and get back up. Unfortunately I also know the feeling of having given up on something. That feeling brings on nothing but regret and pain. I have learned but I need a reminder more often than I would like. Thanks again Kentucky.

Thank You Sir; no problem. I remember long time ago, what my dad use to tell me when I fell off my horse. "Son just brush yourself off and get your butt back up on that horse, don't let him or anyone get the best of you in life with Enough determination you can accomplish your goals."

Thanks
