I'm trying to cobble together a website for my family's business because we haven't been making much money lately and we want to maybe draw in new customers from the web. However, I need a dynamic gallery where photos can be added occasionally, but I'm more than lost in this area.

Since all of my other content is going to be static, are there any simple CMS galleries out there that sort of... drop in place? I'm looking for something with simple instructions and minimal work on my end, because I'm losing patience with this web design thing.

Not my cup of tea.

First thing's first... Who are you using to host the website, and what plan?

A few easy CMS's to try out:
Drupal
Joomla
WordPress

EDIT: You could always ask someone (that you could trust) with experience to help you out.

I'd be happy enough to help you set up a Wordpress/Joomla site, I've had a lot of experience with them both :)

Would any gamers be willing to do the design and coding for me? This sucks, and I'm bored of it. Wordpress isn't what I need, because the only dynamic content on the site needs to be a gallery that can be updated easily without having a PHD in computer science.

Any gamer who is interested in doing this for me, PM me. I'll compensate you somehow. How's a new video game? I hear Portal 2 is going to be epic.
