Question.

Hey! I'm new to LoL, I've only been playing around 10-11 days.
So try not to hate. XD

With patches are we not allowed to login to PvP.net?
I've seen the server down for matinence before and we just weren't able to join games, however right now, I'm not even able to get to the login screen.
Just wondering if this is standard for patches and such.

When Riot(the company that made LoL) is doing their stuff, the servers tend to be down.
If it says "UNAVAILABLE"
--> During this time, you can't get to the log-in screen
#1) you have no internet
#2) Riot is patching

If it says "Busy"
--> During this time, you can't click the "PLAY" button. Use the "Busy Code" Click anywhere on the window and hit (Left Right Left Right Down Down UP UP 3 4)
This makes the "Busy" turn into a "Online"

1)Too many people on Riot's servers
2)Before Patches Riot tends to set the servers on "Busy" to reduce player traffic.

yeah I know that, It doesn't specifically say "you can not login to pvp.net at this time."
It says something like queue's aren't available that's why I was wondering why I wasn't able to login but Mr game and the other dude cleared it up for me already

That "queue's aren't available" message is probably part of the new patch. When the server is Busy you are placed in a queue to help the server with traffic of players connecting. I would guess that message only appears when the server is Unavailable (not able to join queue because it doesn't exist).

But, I'm still just assuming all of this...
I'll look into it further unless someone else has a definitive answer.
