What do you think about this headset?

I've always known Sennheiser to have great sound quality and good durability.

$20 gift card doesn't sound bad for those and places them in a reasonable price-range.

Question, did you chose them because they didn't cover the ears with cups? Or was there another reason? (I ask because I could run you a list of other options at that price-range if you'd like)

Even better price!


They look comparable to the Turtle Beach Ear Force Z1 (LINK). But they don't have the pads for your ears, yet they do fold up.

I'd say get them (the Senheisers) unless you need portability from something like the Z1's.

Their marketing is mainly for internet chat (such as Skype/Vent/etc).

The gaming part of Sennheiser isn't much to compare with other brands, but the audio quality is superb (even though they don't provide 5.1/7.1 surround sound).

Just got the PC151 about a week ago after the wiring died on my PC150 headset(had for about 4 years). The sound quality is good all around for either games or music imo.

what about the PC350 and 360 ? some of the best gaming headsets around for the price range.

All around a great headset. It's $20 cheaper than on Newegg for some reason.

If you don't like the open ear/on ear combo, I can probably find something else.
