Some of you may have noticed I have not been on lately. I've been having some minor roof leaks and my landlord had someone come out and work on it. The guy thought jumping on my roof would somehow help(obviously a moron) and ended up causing alot more large leaks. The biggest ended up being......directly above my computer and monitor. I woke up to my desk being covered in water and when i picked my monitor water poured out the bottom vents. Just about all of my thousands of dollars in computer equipment is destroyed. Meanwhile Im stuck with a laptop. Hopefully my landlord will pay me for my equipment soon and I'll be back in action.:(

Ouch!! Sorry to hear this bud. We've been missing you! Hope that you're back up and running shortly.

O bro that sucks....Hope you get payed for all those damages.

Wow, that is just so stupid, hope you get it sorted dude!

I don't think the person jumping on the roof would have escaped in time to survive my endless rage should they be responsible for getting water on my setup.

Hopefully you get enough compensation to obtain a pretty decent setup to replace it though. :D

Wow! Sorry to here that I hope everything works out .

Hope to see yeah soon in game

Eek. That sucks! You should look into renters insurance for yourself. Ridiculously cheap, and covers you in case of idiocy like this if your landlord refuses to do anything.

Wow man. That sucks big time. Hopefully the landlord pays for all of that, because of course, he caused it.

OMG!!!!!!!! Sad to hear that, I had "almost" the same problem... with a flooded floor... thanks I got my PC like 2 inch above the floor.. Only my bass got problems after that O.O

I wish the idiot would've fallen through the ceiling. It would have brought me atleast a little satisfaction.
The funny part is Leftenant I was going to get renters insurance a few months back and just ended up not doing it. Im kickin myself in the back of head for that one. Luckly my landlord isnt being a pain and has agreed to pay all the damage to my stuff. The question now is when. Meanwhile, the leak still isn't fixed. I'm thinking about placing other things I want replaced under it. :)

Today I saw a documentary in Biology that told the story of how mold growing in houses in Oregon from leaks would kill babies by slowly digesting their lungs.
