Who uses squad chat?

I know bc2 gets beat up for poor implementation of voip, but I actually kind of like it. The sound quality is pretty good and the fact that it's just limited to your own squad means that the channel isn't getting cluttered up with a bunch of talk that doesn't concern you. I run both vent and in game voice all the time with different ptt keys but I always seem to forget about in game. I find it super helpful with pubs that didn't even know it was on or with eGO members that stay locked away in their own little channel (noxx).

So who's with me? Discuss.

I use squad chat (text) mainly because I find that people usually ignore the chat, otherwise.

If i knew more people used it, I'd use it as well as vent. I have used it, but never get any responses!

I like using squad chat to, but another thing I hate typing; my spelling suks, and also i get killed every time I stop to type :biggrin::biggrin:
Not that matters anyway :laugh::laugh::laugh: I get kill when I stop to talk to someone in vent :scared::scared:

I don't think it's a matter of people not wanting to use it, I think a lot of times it just doesn't work. Since I started playing, I've heard one person's voice in the game

That's why I usually play in squads with my friends, so we can just have Steam voice chat open. Plus that way we can have open mics without driving strangers crazy. Of course, if there's only 2 of us we leave the squad open.
