I own the next model up (the SeaSonic X650) of the recently posted PSU. Honestly, I think the one they linked is worth the buy if you don't mind spending the extra dough.

My opinion is this: yeah, it's a pricey power supply, but you're not only future-proofing your PSU for as long as the thing lasts, but you'll probably spend more over time by getting a lesser power supply. Getting a power supply that will last is a smart move because not only do you only have to (ideally) buy it this once and then it'll most likely last YEARS without failing, but a solid PSU is going to save you a lot of heartbreak since it's less likely to fail on you.

There's no guarantee that it'll last forever if it's not properly taken care of, but it's not as wont to blow as a power supply that isn't quite as well-built. Again, purely IMHO.

Yeah. But the 5 year warranty is pretty boss. Or is it 7? Either way, it will last for a while, and if it doesn't, it will get replaced at the cost of shipping (unless they pay for it, I haven't had to RMA anything before lol).

I'd go with then Antec PSU or either XFX PSU.

The two I listed are just as good as that Seasonic as far as guts are concerned. The difference is really in efficiency, the hybrid silent fan, and modular cables for the price. Also, I don't think the 560KM is in the X-line so the X650 wouldn't be the next model up.

All that said, the PSU is probably the most important part of your entire rig. If you get a crappy PSU it will damage all your other parts and make them die faster. And when I say high quality PSU, that does not mean buying as many watts as you can or how many modular cables it comes with, I'm talking about the actual performance of the hardware inside that little box.
