Desperate need of help!!

Hey guys!
Whenever I open up Hammer for about 2-5 minutes, it freezes and is not responsive. I have tried refreshing SDK content, reinstalling Source SDK, and Ive been looking for a while on a fix.
Has this happened to anyone, or does anyone know how to fix it?
Help would be appreciated!

Do you get any sort of error show up when it freezes?
What OS are you running etc?

No error, just freezes, and I've waited like 30 minutes so I know it's not slow, it takes up 50% of CPU Usage, and shows Not Responding. Running Windows XP and it used to be fine, I havent changed anything since then, so idk =/

I'm not sure what the problem is, but I've just tried looking a solution up for you, and you could try this:
-Right Click Source SDK
-Click 'Properties'
-Click the 'Local Files' tab
-Click 'Veryify Integrity of Tool Cache'
^ Try that, just let that go and leave it to do it's thing. As I said, I'm not sure what your problem is, so I can't guarantee that this will work, but it's just something I found while researching it for you.

Trying right now, its at like 20% or so. Thank you very much for your help even if it doesn't work, so one second.

Trying what pickles said, downloading a new driver. Hoping that works!

Sorry my advice didn't work :/ Just something I came across on the steam site. I shall try more in the morning if Pickles' advice doesn't work I hope it does though

No it didn't, thank you both for trying. Going to post on steam see what I get

Still nothing, driver update didn't work. Oh well, might as well just wait for a new update
