Hello Troops,
Since my time I have been with the Edgegamers Organization, I have notice a lot things from unit members and the leadership. I am honor and Proud to be part of a great Unit. Below is list that each one of you Troops represent:
Loyalty = bear true faith and allegiance!
Duty = Fulfill your obligations!
Respect = Treat people as they should be treated!
Selfless Service = Put the welfare of others before your own!
Honor = Live up to all military values!
Integrity = Do what's right, legally, and morally!
Personal Courage = Face fear, danger, or adversity head On!
I wrote this story which I like to share with You. Each one of us goes above and beyond to try our best to
"Make It Happen"
The word ?Make it Happen? can be took by different meaning and contexts. There are many ways to use it. While I was serving in the military; my leaders after given me my assignment and this last thing they would say was, ?Make it happen.? The military leaders are a little different from the some of your civilian supervisor. The job of a leader (Generals) in the military is just planner. They would pass it onto the immediate supervisor and its up to them to make it happen.
When you are dealing with some kind of sports event. Your coach may say the term ?Make it Happen? to you. In sport events you are competing against other folks and teams. The whole ideal is to win the event. Your coach might use this term to boost your motivation so you would go that exact mile to win. The idea is to push you body and mind beyond its limitations. Just like on basketball teams the coach use the term in a speech to motivate the team to win.
In some jobs like construction work the term might be used because most of the jobs are on time-line-schedule. You as a supervisor in this job have to very careful, because completing the work of a new apartment complex to fast and not following the codes could result the lost of life. Working in construction as a supervisor you have to be careful every time you try to motivate your workers to complete a job fast. Most construction jobs are building something that will be used by many folks when the job is finish. It is your responsibility to abide by the policies and codes. They are there to protect life and us.
I guess any type of work you as supervisors you have to be careful when you use the phrase ?Make it Happen.? If ever you decide to use this statement make sure you add safety. As I said before the word ?Make it Happen? can be used many ways. The term can be use to motivate a team to win, and to complete a work job faster. Using these words you as a supervisor to accomplish the mission. To me when I think of the word ?Make it Happen? I think of the meaning if you believe in yourself and your team you can ?Make it Happen.
EdgeGamers I Salute You Troops You guys always :thumbup:

And the implied military motto: "If it makes sense, we don't do it"
