What is your scary game ever?

I think Dead Space was really creepy to me because of the immersion & atmosphere. That & necromorphs jumping at you out of half the vents :O Another one that creeps me out is S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SOC for some reason.

I need to get Dead Space then. I don't mind regular creepy games, but when stuff flashes in your face (Doom 3, F.E.A.R.) i cry.

dead space 1 and 2, it is creepy game, part 1 is no flashy thing like fear has, it just necromorph common ones just breathing through the ship and waiting for you which mostly like ambush. also they come out from no where but just listen to their gowls which you can upper hand aganist them.

once you beat part 1. you start getting flashying thing like fear has now. same thing i mention about thse necro.


keep your weapon aimming like i did cause it got flashlight to help you out. make sure you use statis against them or their limbs or something sharp to go through them...


easy way to kill them is their limbs or sometime head and limbs


Keyword is "Dismember necromorphs include corpes(dead people on the ground) you dont want to see what happend to them they become one and attack you. it look like a bat which called infecter"

System Shock 2 was probably the scariest game that I have played. I want to play Amnesia but I don't think I am up for the anxiety. Fear was pretty scary but I think System Shock 2 takes the cake.

Well... Maybe RE 1, but the most terrorific was Silent Hill 4 n 1 those games are really good, but now that i see Dead Space 2 i think it can pwn RE n SH, but i have just played the demo version...

Penumbra series and amnesia

I'm not usually scared by games, but WOW what an effect Penumbra Overture had on me.
I got past the very beginning, heard something growling, and was given the little tip on hiding. So I crouched in a corner, saved, quit, never played again.
Amnesia had less of an effect, but that's because I was able to make fun of it.
For example, that scratching sound you keep hearing. The main character is just carrying a bag of pistachios with him wherever he goes.

Condemned games were really original and scary, and for those of u who dont know, they were made by the same developer as FEAR 1 and 2
other than condemned maybe Penumbra black plague or cryostasis
dead space 2 was alright, too much shooting though

lol resident evil 2 when i was 10, was sat in the dark playing it when suddenly a load of half dead dogs jump out of nowhere and scare the living crap out of me xD

after that i never ever played another RE game
