So I have gotten into the habit of recording all of my matches using Fraps, but the problem is, all of the videos are huge im talking like 3 gigs...is that just the downside of using fraps or can i resize them to an Uploadable size?

that is the down side to recording with fraps. If you want the video to be sized down to an uploadable size then i suggest rendering it in a program called Sony vegas pro 8-9-10 or just try a new program. Since i am on a mac i use a program called snapz pro X

arctum, i record with fraps as well and i use sony vegas, u dont need to be an editor, you just need to clivk a couple of buttons and it comes out in wicked nice HD (depending on your recording settings)
if u want help reply :D

Console will only record so much,
A lot of people who create recordings of matches/scrims, use one of their audio/video outputs to record to another computer or back to the same computers input.

My opinion, find a good editing program patch output to input, done...

Record your games with demos then when you want to render out a video just record the demo with fraps

In console type

record DEMONAMEHERE

stop (to stop the demo ofc)

i record all my scrims(that i actually record) with ingame console works fine for me

alright then i would like all of the commands for the console for recording, where to find the videos afterwords, and so forth...

If any of you want to learn how to use source recorder for smaller, better quality and smoother videos please contact me. No fraps required.
