Holy crap jason thanks. This is awesome, at around 40 that alleyway was featured in the GameInformer issue, it showed the lighting 'balloons' that holds more lighting information than an entire bc2 map they said. Thank you.

Yeah man i read that too! They have doubled the team of BC2, fully destructible buildings to hotels, skyscrapers, and much much more man! But shouldn't this thread go in the BC2 forums? Just sayin'

I think that would be a great Idea but politics blahhhh.
I think BF3 will be the most kick ass FPS of the year but I haven't seen anything on Modern Warfare 3 yet which is also coming out this year so........
If BF3 is like BC2 but with bigger maps I would pay $100 for that game lol!
Plus just the thought of Project Reality 2 OMGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!

It's inevitable that IW is gonna release another half assed fps just for the money. The call of duty franchise has been re-releasing the same game for almost 10 years now. A game doesn't need to be good to sell, it just needs a brain washed console fan base. As for BF3, it's not gonna be just a bigger better BC2. It's a whole new battlefield, using Bf2 as a reference. BC2 took alot out of what battlefield games used to offer. 64 online multiplayer, a complex squad system, commander roles, jets etc. And yeah I'd pay whatever the amount for bf3, it feels like I've been waiting my whole life for this. Well that and skyrim

No.

Engine-wise, it's Frostbite 2.0, whereas Bad Company 2 was 1.5. They entire engine has been upgraded and rebuilt from the ground up. Destructibility is supposed to be legitimately close to 100% now, with bullets taking out bits and chunks of wall, and explosives PROPERLY leveling buildings (none of that indestructible-internal-walls crap from BC2.)

Did you even look at the gameplay vid in HD?
The weapons are scratched. The lighting is incredible. The animations are built on the EA Sports-developed technology to give the player models heft and weight as they run and shift around corners and into doors.

Based on the (PRE-ALPHA) footage, it's the first game since Crysis that looks like it might make my rig weep.

Agree. PC gaming is for old smelly people with lots of money to build expensive computers. Controllers are easier to use too, since the mouse is a primitive technology. PC gaming communities are lame too, from what I hear.
