500 point sniper headshot

I just recently got the 12x scope for my M95 SA, but I can't for the life of me get a hang on the drop for it. The reload for bolt action screws up any sort of tell where the bullet landed =/. Any tips?

When sniping through a scope, hold the trigger down (that is, hold the button you use to fire the weapon down) and don't release it. It will force your character to not eject the spent round and continue to stare through the scope, thus allowing you to see where your bullet landed when doing a cold barrel shot
