League of Legends? Minecraft? Super Meat Boy?

Saving my coins for this

Minecraft is running so slow.

This is the most pathetic thing Ive seen, lets see it try and run a game with real pixels.

this is just a prototype that they have

But according to Razer, the SwtichBlade is only a concept:

Q: When and where can I buy the Razer™ Switchblade?

A: The Razer™ Switchblade is a concept design (think of it like a concept car) and will not be made available for purchase - yet. Razer will be working with selected partners to design and launch products based off the Razer™ Switchblade concept design. We will be announcing more information shortly so sign up on the registration page to get the news first.

I smell another failed portable gaming platform on its way.

but still is a very cool concept for gaming on the go and play minecrasf and lulz on the go

While Razer hasn't 'officially' announced the Switchblade, they are definitely putting a lot of work into their 'concept'.

Some Things we 'know' (they've announced):
  • Runs Win 7
  • has wi-fi & 3G, camera
  • 7" top touch-screen LCD
  • bottom programmable touch-screen LCD
  • You can (supposedly) install any Win 7 app you want on it.

Things we don't know (but kinda eeewwww):
  • The prototype is running on an Intel Atom CPU
  • unannounced GPU: gotta hope they beef up that processor and graphics combo! I know it's only a 7" LCD, but hopefully something a little more powerful than the Atom CPU.
  • No CD/DVD drive? Haven't heard how you get your games onto this thing, looks like it's either over the net or through an external HD via USB port.
  • Will it run/support Steam? I'm thinking yes, but you can't 'assume' anything.
  • No word on the resolution of the top 7" LCD.
  • Pricing. Whoa! I've heard anywhere from around $699 to $799 - I really hope that's not true, because that's way too high for anyone but hardcore mobile gamers. Unless they plan to use mobile data providers to somehow offset some of the cost? Maybe when you sign up for your 3G data plan, they subsidize part of the cost? (probably not though - but it's a thought?)

Razer has invited any developer who would like to see their game(s) running on the Razer to contact them at this year's GDC. I wouldn't mind seeing Dragon Age II running on this, something RPG-ish that isn't WoW or a WoW clone...

I'd like to see it be a little more...multimedia oriented. Can it play movies? without a DVD drive, it'll have to be over the net of course. Can it handle Netflix? Probably, yes if it's running Win 7, right? Can it handle iTunes? What about Flash? If it has 3G support, I'm guessing it'll be a little like a high-end netbook, with good internet capabilities, and (hopefully) a good battery life for those long days on campus.
