My One Year

I posted this in the general forum but if you're like me, you don't look at the general forum as much as the division forum.

Sup eGO.

Sunday, March 6, will mark the one year anniversary of me joining eGO, and what a year it has been.

I'm obviously in the BC2 division, but most people don't know that I actually started in eGO in a different division with a different name.

I joined the CoD division under the name caboose_. I had to add the underscore at the end of my name because someone in eGO already had the name caboose . I just sort of chilled in the CoD division for a month or so, occasionally playing CoD but mostly playing BC2.

So i transferred divisions to BC2 and changed my name to gingertonic, since that is what my soldier name is in BC2.

I quickly made a name for myself in BC2 and within a month of joining the division, I had been given my G.

That was around May. And that meant the summer started. And that meant things were gonna get a little crazy.

The summer of 2010 was basically just me and a couple other guys from BC2 recruiting nonstop. I mean, literally all day and all night. Leftenant (who was only an e back then) and I would have contests to see who could get the most recruits in a day.

I got my O at the EdgeGamers 4th birthday promotions. Very proud day.

After the summer wound down, I took a little (read: very long and extended) break from recruiting and BC2 in general as I took up WoW. I had just started college and was in the mood to try something new. I can now say that I'm probably addicted to raiding because I'm in a late-night raiding guild, but I'm also getting back into the BC2 scene because my true loyalties lie there with my bros.

Here's to 2011 and my second year being even better than my first!
