XM radio in a car

So I just purchased a kit for my car & im stuck on the best place to install it, audio wise. I have a cd player (factory default) & was wondering if anyone has any experience w/ the XM radio setup stuff. I have a 2000 honda accord (if that helps any).

I see most people put it off to the right of their steering wheel. Like just off the dashboard.
