Hey fellas, you probably don't know me, but it's generally irrelevant.

For about the past 2.5 years, I've been recording demos of myself in CS:S with the intent of making a movie, because I had earlier released a 1.6 movie, and it just felt like the next logical step. It's been complete for 9 months already, but I never posted it because I just felt like meh, but Youtube finally allowed videos longer than 10 minutes, so I figured why not.

This movie is a compilation of demos from around 2008/2009 to May 2010 (when the Orange Box Update was released), the majority of which were recorded on trp and pantless servers, but eGO's cs_office server does make an appearance; I'm just posting this here as a courtesy since it does feature your server, even if only for a short while. Who knows, maybe some of you might see yourself in it.

I'll also post my 1.6 movie if you're interested as well.

I have some other random CS 1.6 and Crysis 2 Beta MP clips on my channel.

I'm trying to work on a Battlefield: Bad Company 2 movie, and after that a Crysis 2 movie, then eventually a Battlefield 3 one when it comes out.

All feedback is welcomed (but if you're going to be negative, please, at the very least, don't flame me).

wouldn't that big css update ruin all your demos, lol?

Well, they announced when the updates was going to happen, so I frapsed all the parts of the demos I wanted before the Orage Box update took place.

Hmmm i just watched something wicked and Ill say i really liked it.

very good job indeed

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Yeah, I play left because 1) I'm a lefty in real life and 2) I started playing cs in beta when all models were left handed (they added right hand in beta 6) - so it just stuck with me =)

And it's weird, because I feel like I can see more of the screen when it's left handed (I think that's psychological though lol).

haha nice i took a screen shot of every knife i had in the last 4 years i should put it together sometime

FINALLY!!! Another left person! I'm right handed but I usually play in left.

But today im going right because it feels weird and I like it :D, and it look bigger on right.

._.

It's a good movie with good frags but it's a little long and the editing could be better. Keep working on frag movies!

Thanks, guys! I know the editing is a little meh, sometimes it drags on because I needed filler so that it ultimately matched the music length. I've never really been one for COMPLETELY matching video with audio because I don't have that much patience during editing, but I try sometimes =)

You shoud give after effects timewarp a go, it really is worth it when you try it. Also if you're into plugins the Video Copilot Twitch is INCREDIBLY good for fragmovies with epic ways to transition and edit the kills to the extreme.

movies were interesting, imo CS 1.6's De_Dust2 i found was better than CSS's version just because the lighting isn't so much ANNOYING. watching the second video brings me back to the days of xbox's version of CS 1.6, and of course. De_Miami that was an excellent map.
