Call of Duty United Offensive issues

This is not really a issue, just an annoyance but the game defaults with low graphics no matter what. My computer can run Crysis almost maxed so it SHOULD be able to COD-UO but maybe the game is just too old I dunno.

Any suggestions? I want eye candy dammit!

The game's pretty old so it probably doesn't have "great" quality. Does it default to low graphics like in the options? Or are the graphics all the way up and they just look low?
