This is probably one of the greatest tf2 videos I have ever seen.

Jumps were amazing. The music was beautiful and really fitting. The editing was perfect.

I wish I could get such impressive graphic quality on TF2.

just wow... wonder how many hours they spent just jumping around, raging and hitting themselves on the forehead... :)

lol, I love that video, I think I've watched it 10 times since it came out on PLDX :P

I've been considering making a jump video for quite a while, I can do most of these jumps (Except for the insane demo sticky flying thing 0.o), it just takes me four or five times :P, this video may have convinced me to try to make one and see how I do.

Not that without sticky or rocket jumper you would need like 5000 hp.. Also, how long did they need to practice that jumps O.o

This is just amazing. Ive seen some good jump videos but this just blows them out of the water.

Oh and its a shame that you won't be able to do this in a normal server as you would run out of hp and die.

What's stopping you?

Having just a XFX GeForce 9400GT. I can't use the best graphic settings because it lags too much. And as I have it right now, it lags sometimes too.

By the way, does anyone know how to turn off the HUD like in the video?

Obviously I know a computer that can't run TF2 at that graphic quality is what's stopping you, my question was more like "what's stopping you from getting a computer than can run TF2 like that."

Also, http://lmgtfy.com/?q=tf2+disable+hud

I haven't actually counted, but I'm pretty sure a soldier can do many of the normal map jumps without dying especially if overhealed. A lot of them used only 4 rockets (talking about normal maps, not jump maps).

Actually Sonata, the quality of TF2 videos is in no way an indicator as to how good the creator's computer is. The video recording tool in TF2 takes a screenshot of every single individual frame and then ties them all in to one video file along with the audio stream. AKA, a computer that normally could barely run TF2 at 10 FPS on low settings can actually make flawless 1080p HD Videos with full graphics settings and at a perfect 60 FPS. Just a random interesting fact :)

Also, yes, many of those jumps are completely possible when actually playing, although many of them do require an overheal. Of course, there is also the Sticky/Rocket Jumper and the Gun Boats :)

Also, this form of jumping, I doubt they needed to practice the individual jumps much. You just kinda get a feel for it after doing it for a while, and you don't really have any problems making whatever jumps you feel like. As long as its an actually feasible jump though. Think of the speed rocket jumping as TF2's version of Parkour, once you're practiced and know what you're capable of, then you don't need to really practice individual runs as much to get them looking good or going fast.
