This thread is in regards to this front-page post.

There are now two ventrilo servers for eGO. The current one should be going down in the near future; therefore, we will all switch to the new, 400-slot server.

Info:

Basically, your ventrilo client should automatically detect the new server in a few days and will begin to connect to that one.

However, if you're as impatient as I am you can manually connect to the new server by updating the server info.

Replace "voice.edgegamers.org" with "vent.edgegamers.org" and you're good to go.

The next few days will be confusing with some people in one vent and some in the other. I'm letting you guys know all of this in the event that you need an admin/advisor.

I will try to check both of them throughout the evening; however, I'd prefer it if you guys would manually connect to the new ventrilo. This is also a great opportunity for me to check who actually reads the website. :scared:

lol, ya they both connect to eGO vent, but it does not show people on Voice.edgegamers.org that are on Vent.edgegamers.org so remember switch early, or you might find yourself confused

I'm uncertain, could be as soon as tomorrow. I imagine that it will be within the next 3 days to avoid as much confusion as possible.

well i logged out of the old one yesterday restarted the computer found myself on new one so it may be as simple as that.

yea all I had to do to get onto the new one was:
Disconnect my session of vent, and reconnect...
And I was in the new one.

I dont know if I will be able to ever to back

Good to hear Barmy and Boe Jangles. That didn't work for me last night, but it will be nice to have everyone in the same vent today.

Never had a problem with vent personally, but the new additions sound pretty sweet.
