FYI, Go to Steam > Settings > And change Beta Participation to Steam Beta.

I say this because the new feature is Steam Guard, which is a new added security to protect your account from hacking and theft. This is very common and I recommend all gamers get into the Beta, better to have more protection!

Yeah my friends be weary with this it is still "Steam Beta" :O

I work with other groups as forums moderator/admins and I have read and even heard a lot horrible story how players was using this and it gave away their accounts information and they lost accounts. :O


I think I am going to wait until it push out in production and out of the Beta stage

I did not know that Kentucky, Install at your own risk. I just enabled steam guard and when I logged in they sent an email to my phone with a pin code and I had to use that pin code to log in for the first time. Nice little tool, with risks I am sure.
