Is it time to upgrade?

About 2 years ago my friend sold me a GeForce 8500 GT graphics card to put in my 2006 Compaq Presario. I know back then it was a really good card, I was just wondering if it would be worth getting a new card for a new PC, or would my video card still be good to use.
Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Im sorry to say but your card is a rather bit outdated. Most games now take a min requirement of the 7600gt (which is real close to yours). If you look in the Sell/Trade area, 1 of our fellow eGO buddies is selling his pair of XFX 9800gt cards. Itll be a lil boost for ya. If not, then check out Newegg for a more upgraded video card. Also depending upon what all you have inside your computer, you may want to upgrade more than just the video card. Please inform us as to the specs of the rest of your system. From there, we will educate you on what to upgrade to, based on your finances.
