Is this bad? :confused1:

yeh if those temps are correct, I would be very worried about my gpu and slightly worried about my cpu

cpu temps look fine now. but if those are your idle temps, your gpu is still rather hot.

I had a gtx295 and it usually idle'd 10-15 C cooler than that. Try upping the fan speed on your video card by 10% if youre experiencing any artifacting or overheating problems.

How to up the speed? :facewall:

I can't answer the fan speed problem, but it does look to be hot if idle. I had the same problem with a 9800GX2. Looking inside, the GPU fan cooler wasn't working, so I had to RMA it. The only reason it didn't completely overheat all the time was because the system 180mm fans was providing just enough airflow for incidental cooling.

If your having overheating issues 99% of modern computers have a built in code into the BIOS that shuts your computer off before any harm becomes of it.

AFAIK, that's only for the CPU. And it throttles itself by default. But the GPU also throttles when it overheats as a safety precaution.

Yeah your fan definitely stopped working there. Have you ever considered water cooling?

I admit when i first installed it I was scared, but afterwards I was glad I made the switch :)

Watercooling IMO is only needed for crazy I7 latest graphics card both OC'd crazy computers. Air is plenty efficient and cheaper, just clean it out every few months and your good ;)
If you have a Nvidia graphics card Nvidia has a overclocking tool that also has a good tempature monitor in it.

Also I thought they had that for graphics cards to, but it makes sense. Learn something new every day :)

I also second the speedfan giving weird tempatures.
