weird enough iphone?

one day i used my iphone too much and it died on me. i went home and charged it and it came back on but it didn't detect being charged? i then saw that the USB cable was a LITTLE loose so i pushed it in and then it sensed charging. its been a day and teh battery meter still says its critical but its charging perfectly. help? :facewall: i also cant sync with itunes.

Have you tried replacing the iPhone USB cord with a new phone?
Have you tried replacing the iPhone battery with a new one?

Over time, cords develop wear'n'tear and it's vital to replace them to have a fully functioned device(s).
