Breaking News! Local Division Leader Promoted to Council! Pigs Fly!
The Counter Strike: Source division woke up to a brand new council member on the 8th of March. Ill Legend, famous for his ideas and mediocre Photoshop work, was chosen to co-manage the division along with Mostly Harmless. "Because of the size of this division relative to the others, Council has determined that a co-Council position is in order. It is with great pride and appreciation that we announce that Ill Legend has accepted this responsibility." said Community Manager Artimus, who knighted Ill Legend into the Council family with a drum stick.
Ill Legend responded well to the promotion. He celebrated his night by playing Minecraft on the Edgegamers server. The day after, he broke his "That will never happen" piggy bank and spent the entire $12.47 he saved on sugary candies. Reports say Legend experienced extreme hyperness for about 2 hours before crashing into a deep sleep. He was found in his room, holding his monitor while repeating "March Madness, March Madness, March Madness".
Division Hosts a Meeting, Ends with More Questions than when Started
The Counter Strike division hosted a meeting on the night of March 7th. Along with some brand new info from the leadership, members also got to ask questions about the clan and the servers.
Inferno was shut down due to inactivity. While the server had a heavy start at the beginning of the week, the popularity slowly died down. At the moment, there are not plans to replace the server with another map.
The CS:S recruiters announced that they are still accepting members into the group. "The recruiters are a great way to get noticed in EdgeGamers," Said Beta, the recruiter advisor. "Anyone can join, and as long you have the drive to learn and recruit, you are welcomed to apply!" Members are urged to contact Beta to sign up to the recruiters!
The scrim team is coming back to life under the management of scrim advisor Fart Vader. Fart Vader, famous for his knowledge of tea and vinyl records, leads the scrim team with an iron fist, and encourages members to tryout. If anyone is interested, contact Fart Vader.
Finally, the division is hosting its annual March Madness Challenge. Every year, players are allowed to join the EdgeGamers bracket tournament and bet on which group of sweaty men will put more balls in the basket.
The Beta Weekly is looking to accept ads for its sorta-weekly release. If you have ads to put up, send Beta a Private message with 1000 casino cash.
