Hey guys.. my steam account was hacked earlier today however I made a new one and rebought CS:S. I'd suggest deleting my old one, and re-adding my new one!

Just wanted to make sure everybody deletes my old account; I have a funny feeling that it may be used for advertisements in the future.

That seems to be a bit much. You should contact Steam support and try to get your account back.

I can't get it back. They require me to have my cd keys and I don't have the ones I bought my games with anymore. It was my mistake, I didn't think I'd have to recover my account. :\

As long as you have your original account information (password, email, username, etc.) and the info of the credit card you used to purchase off Steam you have a case to present. Put a ticket in tonight

I've put a ticket in before and got nothing from it, but I put another one in as well and I'm hoping for the best. At the same time I made another steam account.. I can't go an hour without CS:S

I had my account taken over for a few days years ago, Steam was as quick as a falcon.
Dont underestimate steam.

Contact Steam, wait for Steam, have a CD key or Credit card number associated with the account present, give info, wait, retrieve account. Usually they respond within 2 to 3 business days. Also make sure your Steam account is verified when you do get it back.
