Crouch Shift 360 Noscope Walk.

Hey, hows it going fellow Edge Gamers? I would like to talk about a command
problem on the css jb server. You must be thinking to yourself, "WHAT? ANOTHER PROBLEM"? Well let me go over it with you first!

I have been to many jb servers and a problem I see is how people interpret commands like shift walking or crouch walking. For example on a United Kingdom (UK) jb server I love to play on the command crouch walk means to hold down your crouch and shift walk key at the same time causing you to move slower then a snail, while on the eGO server it just means to crouch.

This seems to cause problems with new players joining the jb server and killing
people they don't see doing these movement commands right. Post any suggestions or comments that you think can solve this problem.

Pubs should be warned because there are different rules on eGO servers than most. If people are being free killed take it up with an admin that you know on steam,ventrillo,xfire, or simply type @ in team chat to alert someone, and have them tell the ct's to warn the T's before they start to massacre.

I dont see why you would make people crouch + shift walk to a far location. When people say, crouch walk, they mean just crouch. If someone trys to be a smart-ass and actullay crouch + shift walks, then you cant kill them, but that doesn't mean you wont be killed by people who aren't aware, they will say your delaying.

Solution. Dont be a smart-ass, it will only get you freekilled by someone who takes jail too seriously (majority).

Okay... Lets try to stray back to the topic shall we!

Well, as Robotic Man said, there is certainly a great confusion in the crouch walking in eGO and other servers, but it is perfectly fine! It is only natural that many JB servers have different rules and guidelines when playing on them. This is the main reason why its so fun! It is our jobs as JB players to adapt to the servers rules and live by them. As said by someone, "Why fix it when its not broken?"

Different server have different rules and policies.
Yes, you have to shift and crouch walk on other server when the warden says "Couch walk to..", however, this is not the case on the eGO Jail Server

Would I shoot someone who does that?
Probably not, unless its a regular who plays Jail often and knows how wardening goes on our server

But in all honesty, it's not really that big a deal. You've just got to get used to it, if you don't see others doing it, don't do it yourself, you'll just get shot.
