Steam extra security

Dont think youre 100% safe.... ever. I keep my computer up to date, run an antivirus (Microsoft Security Essentials- free) 24/7 but when i reinstalled windows last week i forgot to unplug the internet. Pretty sure thats how my e-mail address got hijacked and i sent tons of e-mails out about some lame news article. Anyways, Lungbuster thanks for showing our members the new Steam security system and always be vigilant. Change your passwords often and use a combination of numbers, capitalized letters, and symbols. Oh and dont trust any free Steam game offers. Id go even further and tell you to never give your Steam password to anyone. If youve seen the contest ban forums then youd know that its a common problem (or excuse) when players trust the wrong friend or family member who gets them perma-banned.

Since were on the topic of security (also my major): CHECK THIS OUT
