Adding a sig???

Whats up everyone, I know im gonna sound like a noob asking this. but everytime I go to add my sig in my account. I upload the file from my computer and I see the preview of it. I hit save settings and when i post in the forums the little check box says show signature.

But when i post, all i get is a [SIGPIC] on the bottom of my post.

I have saved my sig as a jpeg, bmp, png type file by 500x100 pixels and still nothing.

What am I doing wrong?? :confused1::confused1:

I had to use the image URL, the part with uploading your own file didn't work for me.
