Issue with Firefox

So recently my Firefox has stopped saving my tabs when I close it. I have it set to save it but whenever I open it up it just opens my homepage. It's version 3.6.

Anyone have any ideas that might work?


(Please do not post nonsense such as "Use Chrome" I don't want to deal with it)

Have you considered updating to 4.0?

It was officially released recently, maybe you could try it out.

In Firefox, go to Tools > Options... > General tab > Startup section > When Firefox starts > Choose Show my windows and tabs from last time.

EDIT: Sorry. I didn't read your entire post; I'm pretty sure you already have this set.

So, first try updating to 4.0. If that doesn't solve your problem, try going to your user profile and follow the instructions on this page.

It seemed to fix itself somehow. Now I have 4.0 and I'm still getting used to changed button placement but it is nice.

You can actually customize the button placement. I have my toolbar set up the same way it was in Firefox 3. Just right-click the toolbar and select Customize.
