In first person shooters, what key do you prefer to use to crouch/duck?

I play CoD and other games where holding your breath is necessary for sniping, which i have bound to shift. How can i possibly press ctrl and shift at the same time?

Plus who would rather move the necessarily less-dexterous pinky finger to ctrl when the more-dexterous index finger is right next to C, on D thanks to WASD?

Doesnt really matter. Usually if ctrl is used for something more important then crouch then it is c.
