New Gun Game Server

Does anyone know why the new eGO gun game server wont show my stats onto "HLstatsX". Please reply if you have a good answer.

Because the gungame server doesn't have HLStats. Feel free to play without worrying about your rank.

It takes alot of work to put up HLstats. I don't excatly think they will. It's best just to play the game and not worry about it. Plus you can just type in rank to see your place, no need to show it off.

At this rate, I may not even keep the server running, let alone add stats to it. It's almost never active....

If you guys want to see that server stay, and perhaps even get stats on it, we need to push and popularize the server.

The problem is that if you don't like Orange maps you aren't going to like Gun Game.

I think one of the strongest points of DoD:S is the atmosphere created by incredible level design and attention to detail. You lose most of that on Orange maps and so I have no desire to play them.

And therefore, as fun as Gun Game can be, I don't really like playing it because of the maps that it uses. I think the server would be much better as a Flash or Anzio server.

Well, the GG server isn't running Orange maps, but its true that they're not true DoD style maps either.

GunGame is a modification that starts everyone with the exact same weapon, and to get new weapons, you have to earn a specific (currently 3) amount of kills with the weapon. The person to cycle through all weapons 1st, wins, and then the match restarts on a new map.

however, yes, edge gamer clan members should first play the GG server

The GunGame server has been converted to Custom Map server, and the old custom server has been put to the control of the Council. I think they turned the server to 24/7 dod_flash.. Aww But anyways, if you guys are willing to play the GG server, I suggest someone make a thread on one of these forums, and ask to put the gungame server back.

We may consider running GunGame on the Orange server for certain days of the week, but that remains to be seen.

Please run it on the orange maps. I love to play the gun game map, but only get to on weekends. I work 3rd shift through the week and when I get home there was never anyone on it. so weekends was all I got. Maybe you could think about putting it in the rotation on the orange map.

I plan on using the Gun game more so that I can practice using weapons I don't normally use.
