TF2 is the better game, DOD is nowhere near as good and is pretty much a downgrade of the original DOD. Plus TF2 has more features than anything so far.

Well lets see. On one side you have world war 2 action and the other is a made up time line.

Pros and cons of DoD:s

1) Limited weapons but still make the game play fun

2) Many maps you can play on

3) First eGO servers/Division

4)The reg is not the greatest

5) Updates break the game

Tf2 Pros/Cons

1) Large verity of weapons

2) More graphically intense so make sure your comp can run it well

3) Division statues unknown to me

4) Many maps

5) Costs more then dod

Out of all this the 1 thing i want to make sure is do your friends play more of tf2 or dod. That way you know you will have a great time with it. It all depends on the community.

P.s of course i vote for dod i do not like tf2(I have my own reasons)

I would not say that, its all opinion lets not shove this down his throat. they are both good multiplayer games but both have there down falls. DoD has some weird reg. Tf2 has to many things in weapons that do much the same damage and also hats which server no purpose. Basically in my eyes tf2 is no longer a fps its more of a Barbe dress up because people mostly care for hats. FPS's should be guns, maps and objectives not dress up.

And DoD:S has C-WHiT! And we all know who's the greatest here, so enough said.


As for which game to get? It really depends on what you want and who you want to play with. Both games offer an exciting FPS (of sorts). DoD:S is more realistic. Your guns will have recoil, you have to learn the map, you have to play strategically at times. TF2 is more about just running around and shooting. DoD:S is at times very team based.

You might also want to figure out what you want out of games. For example, TF2 runs many events. They do alot of things to spice up the game that you should check out on the events calender.

DoD:S is currently rearranging it's event schedule but we do run many events and some random events here and there. Contact me for more info. Furthermore, we do operate DoD:S Realism, which is one of the most popular events around this community. So if you'd like to check that out, come ask me.

If you can obtain guest passes just to check out the games, that's probably your best bet. Otherwise, I'd choose which ever game opens your eyes more and based upon events and people (friends), which ever game you'd have more fun with.
