Issue with sound on tf2

I tried to shoot a gun at a spy and it had no noise at all so i was wondering why arent the guns making noises but i can hear other people shooting these weapons are flamethrower minigun huntsman and crusader crossbow

Which gun? If it's a generic gun, like the shotgun or pistol, did it apply between all classes?

Try verifying the game cache, i had the same issue with graphics not showing up and it replaced the file well enough it seems like
