Speakers get real loud then quiet, then loud. Help.

My speakers keep screwing up and getting really loud, so I turn it down, then really quiet so I have to turn it up. They are some older Dell speakers. I have 2 side speakers, a center, and a small sub. I would like to get this resolved because it just started happening about 2 days ago. Very frustraing.

First off, wrong section. This should go in tech help.

Second, I don't think there really is a way to resolve this unless you buy new speakers. It seems like your speaker has been busted.

Alright, if an admin can move this, that'd be great. That is not what I want to hear at all .
