AT&T buying out T-Mobile

So I heard from a friend of mine that AT&T finally boguht out T-Mobile. I came here to see if thats true or not considering that I'm signed for T-mobile and worry the bill is gonna go up.

Any other T-Mobile people here worried about this possible transaction??

I too am on T-Mobile, same as 75% of my family. That would suck if it did go up.

It is indeed true, that they were planning to buy it for $39 Billion. However, I believe that Sprint has counter-offered.

Yes AT&T has bought T-mobile. This is old (3 weeks or so) news. AT&T will not officially come in to power until next year.

An agreement was announced under which AT&T will acquire T-Mobile USA. The agreement is the first step in a process that, including regulatory approvals, is expected to be completed in approximately 12 months. Until then, we remain a separate company and continue to operate independently.
