Interesting... That's a good idea. I talked to my utility companies today and it doesn't look like they will have a problem. They're going to let us pay once we get paid and without adding on any late charges (since it's out of our hands). Kinda nice since these guys are usually such a pain in the butt.

Being also AF I spoke to my first sergeant who gave me a letter that said we as military did not get paid this pay period and there was nothing I could do about it. You would be surprised how quick companies back off with one of those letters

USN Aviation Ordnance 2004-Present (inactive reserve atm) VFA 154 VFA 122 server on the carl vinsion in 2004-2005 John C Stennis 2007-2008. Was injured on my last deployment but all better now and I am actually in the process of reenlisting into the navy again the civilian life was just not for me and I think I am going for the long haul 20.

Ive been inactive reserves now for 2 years and I have to do the refresher boot camp again. Its going to be fun now that I am older i think it will be better for me this time around. Just hoping that Obama pays me when i go to boot camp soon haha.

I served on the Carl Vinson for 6 months in 1994, during Operation Southern Watch in the Persian Gulf, with CVW-14 support

Up until 3 weeks ago I was a serving member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 5 years in the Army, I was a Radio Operator. I served on Task Force 3-09 as a TACP Helicopter Radio Net Operator working hand in hand with Canadian and American JTAC's controlling air asset's as route reconnaissance for Counter IED.
