So, heres my idea.
My idea is that we have an event where there is this long but thin but not too thin map, every one has pistols, and 1 health, each pistol has 2 magazines(1 in gun,1 spare). The thing is, that 1-10(matters how many people playing) person from each team goes out into the middle of the map and tries to kill each other, while the other people try to shoot the other the enemy from their spawn.

Hope this gets looked at and thought about!

You said it Flux, we are always interested in new ideas or recommendations. If you have anything of the sort submit it to the Drop Box. :P

Yup, the two above me said it all. Go ahead and drop box it!
(Lets keep it going before leadership locks it!)

what.. this thread or the drop box?? ;)

Also... just wondering about the quote in your sig compton... What exactly is it refering to??

Uhhh guys?
The Drop Box is for private concerns that only leadership needs to see.

If you want to have a discussion about something where we all can participate you put it on the forums. Not every proposition needs to be vetted by leadership. Let's keep an open mind about open discussion.

Thats for you to decide! =P

If it helps, Anni afterwards said, "Thats what she said." in reference to the quote :w00t:

Right and wrong. :P

First sentence of the Drop Box read me; "This area is for you to give us suggestions/concerns."

We (as a division) are always open to new ideas but then again if everyone posted a new thread for a new idea i have a feeling it would end up looking a lot like the Drop Box. The Drop Box is a great place to voice your recommendations or concerns and frankly it saves a whole lot of time and frustration if hype is created and we have to destroy someones dream in public.

However, the forums are also made to voice your opinions. Hence this thread remains open.

For example:

Drop Box:

Can we demote Stormy because he enjoys crushing peoples dreams?

Forums:

If Stormy crushes peoples dreams, does the falling tree still make a sound in the forest while clapping one hand?

Right and wrong. :P

If I understand you correctly you would like all new ideas to be posted to the drop box, which only leadership can read.

As the German soldier on Laugh In used to say, "Very interesting..."

The Dropbox is a tool that leadership utilizes to have new ideas/thoughts/suggestions/comments/issues etc. brought up to us so that we can deal with them in an appropriate and timely fashion.

Let's be honest here guys, the eGO forums are HUGE. There's no possible way that we can moderate every post in every thread. So if you want to get your idea through to leadership, the DropBox is a GREAT tool. It's like holding a sign in front of our faces saying "HEY YOU! LOOK AT THIS!".

As for the former post about "lets have a discussion", that point is moot. I ask you to go read the OP's post again. He obviously isn't asking for a discussion. He is saying, "hey leadership, go look at this idea and consider it for the future". As stated above, the dropbox is the perfect tool for this. If he posted the idea as a discussion of whether it'd be a good idea or not, that'd be completely different. he obviously is NOT in this case, which is perfectly fine.

As for the idea itself, DoD:S Leadership has taken it into consideration and like any other idea/suggestion that comes our way, we will take the time to discuss it, talk about feasibility, execution of the idea, and if it is something we want to pursue at this time. So fear not, we do not just ignore your suggestions. In fact, we value them wholeheartedly.

If we decide not to pursue it right now, it is kept safe where we can revisit the idea at a later time if need be.

Thank you everyone for reading.
