So i was wondering if EGO could download some new ct/t skins for some of the CS:S Servers. And make them Member only. This would not only would the skins make it sweet. they would also attract People to EGO. Just a thought. im not on the forums so much so i don't know if anyone else has already suggested this. But please tell me what you think! :thumbup:

We wont and dont add skins or custom materials because we want to have quick as possible joining so players can join in and play as soon as possible. Custom materials and such force them to have to download said materials thus slowing down their join progress which can cause some to cancel joining and play on other servers.

As well need to think about people who have restrictions on how much they can download each month. Sure skins might not take up that much space, but combined with other things it adds up.

if you want, you can download skins to use yourself, but as rouge said, It takes up extra time, and it would make the server lag.

Too add on to what Rogue said, do you know how hard it would be to make skins for members only? There are about 20,000 members and admins (literally) and they would have to add them one at a time.

He doesn't mean everybody gets separate skins... He means we have one skin for all eGO members.

Custom skins, sounds, materials and or sounds.. Such as mp3 files loaded on to ANY server, will slow the players connection to the server down by a lot. Not to mention, eGO seems like there are members here world wide, so, there for download rates and speed would be reduced heavily. Let alone, Most of the community servers that are JUST coming out now, like ]TPG[ Total Punishment Gaming, they do custom skins and sounds, they hardly fill their server so, i am with the players that say no. Because, You have to look into the idea deeper than just how it sounds and seems

I thought about this but in a funny way to make skins just for the Highschool server. Where CT are teachers and the T are students. Now that would make for a funny map. Yes i know it would never happen but it would be fun.

I am sort of against that, some servers and some days/nights.. I picture my game play being a little similar to other war games, and skins make the imaginations to my mind help me believe in false reality, if i am still making sense here xD

create a fur eGO jacket for bear,
an eGO sweater for BRK,
an eGO and STEELERS T-shirt for legend,
an anime eGO shirt for Beta,
an Innuyasha and eGO sign shirt for Rogue.
a Shirt saying eGO CS:S SCRIM BOSS for Fart
and shirt saying IM CRYPTEX. RELECT YOUR ACTIONS for cryptex

I duno wats Mostly's fav or doing though... :\
