Looking for help OVERCLOCKING

What I am wanting to do is overclock my CPU's but need some help PLEASE!!!
Something isnt working right with my BIOS I think. Along the lines of my BIOS wont let me manually change anything.
Take a look at my computer specs and let me know what you think. Thanks

if u think something is wrong in your bios, u might wanna update it. Take a backup tough :)
 
When you say "BIOS won't manually let me change anything.", what exactly happens when you try?

And is this a custom build or a prebuilt machine you bought from a store?

There's programs that handle overclocking for you, you shouldn't be in BIOS manually messing with settings unless you are 100% sure you know what you are doing. Failure to follow this warning could result in unwanted desires, up to a bricked motherboard. Despite what people say about software overclocking.

Well its a modified Dell D650 precision server. The only thing that is factory on it is the MB, chipsets and PSU. When you go into bios on my machine it doesnt let you change any of the setting for multiplier etc, it doesnt even offer the option to.
 
OK. What exactly do you wanna overclock?
The CPU, the motherboard, the GPU? Everything?

Based on your response, I'll find a program suitable for your desires.

I just want to over clock the CPU's and the MB, my GPU is already overclocked. Heat is not an issue with my machine, 4 push fans 4 pull fans and 4"x4" heat sinks over the processors. According to CPUID hardware monitor im only at 31deg Celsius at the processors. Anything you could find would be a great help. Thanks
 
The Internet says this program is good with overclocking Intel CPUs, but you'll need a little information first. The Internet also says Intel processors don't support overclocking, so be careful.

SetFSB is an easy way to overclock a processor. This little program lets you adjust the frequency of the FSB directly from Windows. It’s compatible with a wide range of motherboards and requires only that you know the PLL used by the board.

CPUFSB is a small version of CPUCooL. It is for changing the FrontSideBus only. So you have a small tool only one of the the most important freatures of CPUCooL. Changing the FrontSideBus enables you to set the frequency of your CPU up to the limits.

NOTE: I am not using this term to influence software piracy(THAT'S ILLEGAL!), but an actual pirate.

The Internet reports Intel Desktop Control to work best with Intel processors. But the site says it's for Extreme Series, while third party sites confirmed this utility overclocked out of the Extreme Series. Give it a shot.

Ive found a few posts from people that have overclocked this board but they dont bother to elaborate.
 
You can't overclock your Dell. The BIOS and/or motherboard just doesn't have that feature. No you're not going to be able to find an unlocked BIOS either. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've heard of someone successfully overclocking their dell and that was on older boards where Clockgen had a supported PLL. Sorry that's just the way it is.

I would love to be proved wrong though. Could you point me to the threads where people said they overclocked this motherboard?
 
You have an OEM motherboard. They lock the BIOS so you can't overclock, because that would just screw the warranty.

That leaves your only options left to software overclocking, which is a big no-no.

I'm sorry, but you're SOL. :/
