BC2 While abroad

Hey all,

I got my acceptance letter to go to the University of Helsinki for a 2 year Masters Degree! Finland has great internet, and I still want to game occasionally, but I have a question.

I know that some game companies pull shenanigans with releasing region-specific titles, and allowing you to only connect to servers with your region/etc. Is this the case with BC2? I.E. With the copy of BC2 that I bought via steam in the U.S., will I be allowed to play on U.S. servers unhindered?

And yes you should be about to play it its in your steam account and its you logged into your ea and steam profile so there shouldn't be a problem.

You should be able to play on our servers just fine. I see many people from Asia and Europe connecting to our servers all the time.

We also have members of the division from Europe, South America, etc. They all get on our BF:BC2 servers just fine from what I see.

However, you might get some lag, just like V-FIN.

And yes, you can play on US servers without any problems..

I think what he is worried about is that since he bought the game in the US then it might not be playable outside the US.

Although it is a valid question I think you'll be fine. If not at least it is only 20 bucks now.
