I would like to just say how wonderful our prison server really is.

Due to our servers being down and being in the mood to boss some Ts round, i decided to go on some other jail servers.
After finding one that spoke English i was amazed at how terrible the server was run. Not only was there about 6 wardens telling the Ts to do stuff but the orders were things like "run out the cell" ... and that was it.

However, the worst part of it all was the free killers. Even when an admin was online (playing as a T i do believe) he just stood there watching some trigger happy n00b slay half the team before the cells had even opened.

So. My point being is not a nag at the other jail servers, but to show my appreciation to the peeps that make our jail server so fun to play on. :)
 
Yeah, I first played on jail servers like that, i just came up to finding eGO's organized and Non-Lazy admins, eGO is great!!
 
Every other servers i have been in were boring and they were unfair if you were t. They also used plugins to games so they couldnt use much ?magination.
 
Yeah I can relate to that... a server I was admin on awhile back... there was no admin classes... you just paid for admin and some people abused well alot did.. spawning guns and stuff. So yeah that is why cryptex makes ego great
 
I agree that our jail server is the best jail server, however the main point stands:

Each jail server works differently, you may think its freekilling, but really, its how they play jail. In some servers, they say in the beginning of the round "Leave your cell, you die". Why? Because the CT's then go to check the gun cell, and get the T to drop it. Also the ratio wont be the same, I've played on a server where its only 3 CTs per 12 T's. And then theres the trap cards, e.g. T's crouch to the cell block stairs. If there isn't a cell block stairs, and you attempted to move there, you die. Even if you were to go to the cellblock ramp. And some games are what you'd call 'unfair' and more opinion based. But they like it.

I like the maps.
 
For a sec I thought you were describing the eGO jail and I was like o_O then I re-read it and understood.
 
lol Yea, I used to be an admin on one which used RPG mod, It was so bad.

( Wasn't in the day but comparing it to our glorious one )
 
eGO's Jail pwns all!! First Server I Played When I bought CSS was the Jail Server xp Than I went to Zombie xp I love to Warden but stupid steam update prevents my mic workin at all now... D:
 
Obviously, our jail servers are paramount to greatness but i must stress that not all other jail servers are a bunch of power-tripping fools who dont do organized activities. Take HG for example; not exactly the most eGO friendly but it is still a very well run server.
 
I totally agree, the EGO jail servers are supreme to any other jail server I've played (not that Ive played on many)

The jail server stands testament to the great admins we have at EGO
