Hello Troops,

Yesterday I took some time out from gaming to do some landscaping and time with my son.

As you can see from the picture above I got a little carry away :laugh:
“Just kidding I just love Ace Ventura and I get a laugh out of that photo”

For real my son and I decide to do some landscaping work outside. We did some hedges trimming and spreading mulch and laying brick. Decorated our front lawn area up for the year. It was a Father and son project of mine. :thumbup1:
Below is a photo of our results from the project.

Saturday was a day and great weather for working outside. My boy and I completed everything and had fun doing it.

Food for Thought :P

I remember the days coming home, throwing my book bag in my room, and telling my mom I going out side a play. I enjoy those days running and playing outside with my friends. Those were the days growing up, young and healthily.

“Today world” :O
Coming home throwing your book bag in your room, and telling my mom you will be in my room the rest of day. Here you are sitting the rest of day in front of your computer screen playing games with your friend.
It is funny how our world complaints about child obesity. When all we need to do as a family is start by unplugging and spend time outside with our children. It starts by us adults setting the example for our children.

Enjoy your time with your kids, one day they will be grown up and you will wonder were the time went.

In my views and opinion only :)

Every summer I went to summer camp where we were completely unplugged and for that month I can honestly say I had the best times of my life. Spending time with 50 other guys in the mountains was a great way to spend everyday. Even when the weather sucked we still had fun outside.

Great post Kentucky and nice lawn! You two did a great job.

Nice kentucky! I always enjoyed projects like that with my dad.

All kidding aside it was great day out and we going biking on Sunday :)

Cherish the time you have. Every second provides possibilities, but only you can reach out and grasp them. Dad always would delegate yardwork tasks to me when I was younger and I'd ask if he could work with me, always saying it would be faster. Really though, it's just much more enjoyable to do things together, even if it's stuff that you don't really enjoy doing. The power of teamwork.

This is great! Parents need to do more stuff with their kids, I have done lots with my dad and they really are great ;)
