Seeing as there isn't a Portal 2 discussion thread (post release) in misc gaming discussion, I thought it would be apporpiate to create this thread.

I enjoyed this game to a great degree. I thought the game was simply excellent. The Co op mode was my favorite part of the game. GLaDOS's cynical humor is not lacking though dealing with robots. The puzzles were challenging at time and the cooperation element made teamwork all the more rewarding... I mean without teamwork you won't succeed.

The Single player was fun as well, certain areas were challenging. Since I don't want to spoil anything I will make this brief, I believe the story was excellent expect
the lack of half life relations other than the Borealis Dock and Cave's mentioning Black mesa. Would have loved to see striders roaming on surface.

It took me about 5 hours to complete the Single player and 6 the co op. Though I man most certainly not done. There are achievements and dev commentary to be had.

A vid I made of co oping from course 5. note blue goo doesnt render in demos. This isn't spoiler I don't believe it is really short.

Beaten both single and multi player as well, going through again for the achievements, which will take me much longer...
Favorite line:
GLaDOS: Oh, it's you. How are you holding up? BECAUSE I AM A POTATO.

Amazing, I loved every part of it, even the tests that I died several times on and/or took 5-10 minutes.

The Co-Op was fun, but the ending kind of disappointed me. I expected more out of it then
having to help GLaDOS find test subjects.
I also wished it was longer since they advertised it so much, but it was fun and mind boggling.

Was confused when I read it.
I never found the Borealis thing D:...
As for the lack of HL references, this game is obviously far in the future, much further than Portal. Maybe it takes place past the time of the Half-Life series.
And for HL2Ep3, I now want a portal gun. They could work it into the story.

I just beat portal 2 SP and Co-op yesterday and I have got to say out of everything in the game, I loved the dialogs the most

Cause that doesnt further proove that caroline is glados and chell was their daughter...

It was already widely accepted among people who figured stuff out with the Portal 1 ARG that Chell was Cave Johnson's daughter. It all added up, and now it adds up more. So really, it wasn't that surprising. My older brother already guessed it and he is only half way through the game...

Also. WOW that the giant potato was Chell's project. Just wow. Wouldn't have noticed.
And some of those theories on that steam forums thread are pretty interesting, but spoiler #2 seems a little hard to believe.

Translate the turret opera, if glados is caroline then it sorta makes sence with that little "missing" clue ^^

Yeah it didn't take me the whole game either, it was kinda obvious.

I saw Still Alive in the credits was that what the turrets were singing at the end? It kinda sounded like it but not sure.

How is the re-playability of Portal 2 after you beat coop/single player? Is it worth the $50?
