The spiritual successor to Counter-Strike

Lately I've been hearing things about the creator of Counter-Strike (not valve btw) making another game. After searching for awhile I came across this:

Unfortunately, nothing has been released from this site for quite some time, except a few people signing up for the beta and asking when a beta will happen for months on end.

I've done a bit more searching recently, and I have discovered that there is going to be an EU beta, starting in 13 days. Just sign up and apply for a beta here:

Lets hope that the original creator will make a game worthy of being the successor to Counter-Strike (since Counter-Strike 2 has no release date in sight....damn you valve!:cursing:).

By the way, if you're wondering, you don't have to be in EU to be in the EU beta, although according to my profile I like somewhere in the UK :)
 
Thanks for notifying, I probably would never find out until beta is released.

As for the game, it doesn't look good, but I can't really judge it 100% until I've played it. Looks okay, not the best.
 
If you searched as much as I have, you'll notice that most of the videos that are available are fairly old and are from older betas (earliest i found was late 2008). Basically if you want to see the game for what it might be, I suggest playing the beta when its released. I'm excited for some new weapons and blind fire :)
 
This has been posted before and I will repeat what I posted last time.

It is a combination of call of duty, left 4 dead, counterstrike and why not throw a little doom into there with the sounds.

The blind firing around and over objects when crouching looks very nice, along with the human shields.
