Is anybody in eGO an avid runner? I'm going to start running this summer so I can lose some weight before I get out of highschool, and I need to find a nice pair of shoes. Nothing >$100, and they need to be durable.

I'm just looking for some recommendations for running shoes.

$20 Nike's on discount work.
As long as you stay on a sidewalk/somewhat smooth surface, basic running shoes are fine.

Just go to the store, like Dicks or Modells or a running store, and one of the employees should be able to help you.

Been joggin in the same pair of $29.99 nike's for 2 years and they're still in (mostly) one piece :)

Haha, I was actually looking at those last summer just because I'd be one of the only people in my city to have them. I decided not to buy them because I have wide feet and probably wouldn't fit in them.

I reccomend these. I have them. They have a durable sole. Usually after a week or two of running, the sole starts to break down. These I have had for two months and still feel like I could run a marathon in. The are great for running, breathe well, and meet you price range. Look at them! :)

If you find a store on the brands website, you can try the different fits on. I also have really wide feet and did not have much of an issue with them.

They are soooo comfortable too, its like walking barefoot but having your feet protected

I have a $25 pair of Nike's. I run every other day and I've had the shoes for 8 months and they're still in good shape.
